When I was pregnant four years ago, I brought a few maternity sashes from Holland to San Francisco. Every time I wore my sash out and about the city, people would stop me to ask where I got that cute shirt. The conversation would inevitably end with a ‘why can’t we get these cute things here in the States?’ and ‘can’t you import them and sell them here’? It planted the seed for Sassabies, although first there was a baby boy who needed and deserved most of my attention. But about 2 years later, the idea re-surfaced and Sassabies was born.

The sashays are designed in San Francisco and Holland and are 100% USA made. I am so excited every time someone tells me how much they love their sashay. I hope you will too. There are enough things to think about when you are pregnant and worrying about your clothing shouldn’t be one of them.
